UC Components, Inc. announces a corporate donation of personalized chemotherapy care packages to The American Cancer Society to help bring joy and comfort to those undergoing chemotherapy treatments. We partnered with The American Cancer Society to honor the company’s original founders, who both passed from cancer.
UC Components, Inc. is committed to doing its part for the communities they work in and around and from which they draw their employees. The American Cancer Society was chosen as one of several local and national institutions for this year’s UC Components, Inc. Corporate Giving Initiative, “UC CARES” due to their ongoing efforts to help prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
Each donated care package contained various fun, helpful, and inspirational items and notes decorated and personalized by our employees and management. Participation was company-wide; everyone was eager to add a touch of their own in the hopes that their contribution brought someone happiness and comfort during their treatment.
